A Case Report of Dysmenorrhea treated by Oryeong-san based on Shanghanlun provisions

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : This case report aims to show the effect of Oryeong-san on dysmenorrhea. the patient was diagnosed with Taeyang-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions.
Methods : According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, the patient was diagnosed with Taeyang-byung and has over-worked since she had been sick. So she took Oryeong-san decoction for 1 month. We evaluated the results of treatment by Visual Analogue Scale and Moos Menstrual Questionnaire.
Results : After taking Oryeong-san decoction for 1 month, the symptoms of patients improved.
Conclusions : This case report sowed and effectiveness of using Oryeong-san according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on dysmenorrhea.
